The agenda for each meeting varies slightly according to the needs and priorities of matters needing to be addressed but always contains core items - typically the meeting will run in this order but the Chair always retains the right to vary the order if it is thought necessary to do so.
1. Apologies for absence
(This is the item were Councillors who are unable to attend present their apologies)
2. Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
(If any Councillor has a personal or prejudicial interest in an item appearing on the agenda it will be declared here)
3. Open Forum (this will normally last for a maximum of 15 minutes)
(This is an opportuntity for any member of public present to express their views on any topic related to the area or the Council).
4. Police Report
(Report from our PCSO on matters relating to any crime or related issues)
5. Report from Devon County Councillor (John Hart)
(An update, from John Hart, on what is happening at County Council)
6. Report from South Hams District Councillor (Bill Hitchins and Carolyn Bruce-Spencer)
(An update from our District Councillors)
The Council will now go into formal session and there would not normally be any further opportunity for public participation. Members of the public are encouraged to remain but can leave if they will to do so.)
7. Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting(s)
(Ensuring the minutes of the previous meeting(s) reflect the meeting)
8. Planning
(This item looks at any planning applications from South Hams District Council, Devon County Council or the Dartmoor National Park. It is an opportuntiy to comment and input local knowledge to help the Planning Authority make an informed decision based on local knowledge and views).
9. Plymouth Urban Fringe
(Update on the development of the Parish Council's policy on future development in the area).
10. Reports from Roborough Hall & Roborough Sports Club Committees
(Updates on these local facilities).
11. Report from the Woolwell Centre
(Update on this local facility)
12. Correspondence received by the Clerk since last meeting
(Review of correspondence coming into the Council since the last meeting)
13. Chairmans Time
(Each Councillor has an opportunity to raise matters that are current and relevant raised by Parishioners)
14. Report of finance
(Report from the Clerk on finances and payments to be made by the Council)
15. To agree date of next meeting
(This will normally be the fourth Thursday in the following month)
