Boundary Stones on Dartmoor

On the boundary of Bickleigh there were, at least, 17 boundary stones, of which only 9 have been located. These stones occur on the shared, former, boundary with Tamerton Foliot and also on the shared boundary with Buckland Monachorum. What is not known, is which parish installed those boundary stones. Those on Roborough Down carry no inscription so cannot be readily identified. Of the nine boundary stones found, 2 are inscribed with Bickleigh, 1 with B | T (Bickliegh | Tameton Foliot), the rest are plain.

This PDF lists the boundary stones that have been found so far.
